BRIEF //

To develop an idea, creative wrap and activations for O2 and AEG’s series of Birthday gigs to celebrate The O2’s 10th Anniversary year. O2’s stewardship has transformed The Millennium Dome in to the world’s best entertainment venue and that Priority benefits make your night that little bit easier/better for O2 customers.

SOLUTION //

We wanted to create a carnival and birthday party atmosphere for all visitors to the venue and their shows by having live marching bands playing covers of the artists involved, the opportunity for fans to commemorate their involvement in the celebrations with a photo graphic me men to and visually striking assets that made the space feel special (such as a giant birthday present that was incorporated in to a stage for prizes and pre show entertainment).

RELIVE THE NIGHT / 2016 //

BRIEF //

To provide a digital memento of gig goers’ live music experiences that drive engagement and sharing of content, whilst building fame and brand love for O2 music. The first version will include audience stats, setlists of the performance and a host of interesting data captured via in venue technology that measures sound and movement. Later iterations will also include richer content like photo and video.

SOLUTION //

We first looked at different executions that would be engaging for the viewer, that ultimately sat in to two camps; photographic and illustration. We looked at different categories with in those two routes such as the illustration type and the treatment of photography (whether new imagery or existing branded assets), all with in the current brand guidelines. We had already settled on a parallex site with the client, as well as the actual content that would be showcased, so it was then a matter or providing solutions for each section in a manner of different ways. The project went on to win awards for digital activations and sponsorship.

CELEBRATING ARTISTS / 2015 //

O2 Celebrating Artists.jpg

BRIEF //

We were asked to create a PR moment that centres on a gift presented to artists from O2. The gift has to work across The O2 and O2 Academy Brixton, and make O2 famous for welcoming artists and celebrating their success.

SOLUTION //

The client had already agreed that they would like to explore‘ the roar of crowd’ (the moment an artist takes to the stage) with technology that would capture this sound at a few selected venues. I wanted to capture this roar with in a bubble (that reference the brand) in a similar way to which marbles are made, but introduce distinctive art work that was relative to the artist. The brief changed over time but actual sculpture were made and presented to the likes of Madonna and Years and Years, whereas 2D versions were presented to other artists like Mariah Carey.
